Inspiration from our CEO

“I believe that we must push ourselves outside of our comfort zone to succeed in ways that we never thought possible.  Below you’ll see some of my favorite inspirations from my own treasure chest of quotes and many other leaders from around the world.  Enjoy!”

– Elias Amash, GRIP, CEO

“Listening to podcasts or reading books doesn’t mean you’re growing. Growing happens when what you know changes how you live. If you’re not actually putting these new lessons in practice, you’re not growing.”

“Be willing to pay for anything that saves time. More money will come. More time won’t.”

“Your greatest achievement as a leader may not be something you do, but rather someone you develop.”

– Elias Amash

“You can be a change agent and lead. You can accept change and do nothing. This is survival. Or you can resist change and die. The choice us yours.”

– Elias Amash

“Everyone wants a shortcut or a trick to beat the system. You have to put in the work. There are no tricks. You can’t cheat the grind. It knows how much you’ve invested. It knows what you did or did not do. But guess what? It won’t give you anything until you’ve worked for it. Period.”

– Elias Amash

“Your biggest challenge isn’t someone else. It’s the story you tell yourself. It’s the voice in your head that yells I can’t. You have to find a way to change the voice to “I can.” When the voice in your mind starts saying I can’t, replace it with this phrase. ‘How can I?'”

– Elias Amash

“If you carry old bricks from your past relationship to your new one, you will build the same house that fell apart before.”

– Elias Amash

“Perfectionism paralyzes progress and potential.”

– Elias Amash

“Complaining is a subconscious way of expressing that you are powerless to change your situation. Complaining is futile and will only hurt you. It drains your energy and spreads like cancer. Nothing will postpone your progress faster than complaining. It is a complete waste of energy and time.”

– Elias Amash

“Our greatest asset isn’t your bank account or your network.  It’s your mindset.  There’s an invisible war going on daily to take control of your mind.  It’s an intense battle that never stops.   If you don’t have control over your mind, you won’t have control over anything.

So guard your mind closely. Your worst enemy can’t hurt you as much as your unguarded thoughts.  You need to learn how to select your thoughts just the same way as you select your clothes every day.

– Elias Amash

I can teach my kids how to be responsible to protect them from calamity…I can teach them self defense to protect them from bad guys…I can build a nuclear bunker, buy the safest car, only eat organic…to protect them from External threats…But I cannot intervene much at all if they threaten themselves from the inside. Nothing much can protect us from ourselves….  But the right mindset protects us from self destruction.  Guard your thoughts carefully.

– Elias Amash

“Most people don’t chase happiness. They chase comfort. Stop chasing comfort and start chasing the hard things. If you want to be happy and be the best, you also must be able to handle the worst!”
